Our pets are part of our family and depend on us for their care and livelihood. They would expect us to make responsible choices and decisions when it comes to them. Unfortunately, many people do not realize how fragile our environment is, so education is the key. As we increase our environmental awareness, that education should extend to our pets.
Many of our standard pet supplies often contain toxic chemicals, pesticide sprayed components, questionable metals, and meat by-products not fit for consumption.
We as humans do have the means to curb the effects of harmful chemicals and global warming by manufacturing products made from sustainable and renewable sources such as hemp/organic cotton which are gentle to humans, animals, and our environment.

Eco-Hound is the brainchild of Kimberly Hall, Owner of The Haute Hound Pet Boutique. Eco-Friendly pet shopping is on the rise but there is no one-stop shop where you can fill all your eco-pet needs. Kimberly decided to fill this much-needed niche and spends her free time developing her own line of environmentally friendly pet products, such as Pretty Pee Pads, washable piddle pads for pets.
Eco-Hound is a proud member of Co-op America which is a not-for-profit membership organization founded in 1982.

About our covergirl:
Mea, is my beloved rescue from the Humane Society of the Palm Beaches. As a puppy, she was degloved by a raccoon trap and dropped off by her owners at the pound. She remained in the hospital for four months while the doctors' tried to save her leg. Even though it doesn't bend and she is missing some toes, she is lucky to have use of it at all. Three years later, the nightmares have stopped and Mea gets along great.
Her eternal optimism and sheer enjoyment of life is amazing. We could all take a lesson from her.
